July 7-10 Montreal & Montreal to Chambly

We spent 3 fun filled days in Montreal. Paul flew in to join us. We ate at great restaurants and spent lots of time wandering Old Montreal. Highlights were a light show and Mass at the Notre Dame Basilica, a visit to Marche Atwater (a farmers market) and a high ropes course (Hartley, Skip, Elizabeth & Paul.)

Today was very rainy but warm, we cruised from Montreal to Chambly. In the map you will notice we went north to Sorel and then made a sharp turn and headed back south on the Richelieu River. This was always the plan, but a bonus was Paul was able to join us and then taxi back to Montreal for his flight. We had one very easy lock today, but tomorrow we have 9, possibly 10 locks. The first 3 are one after another and operated by kids. We are hoping for no rain!
