Day 2 started with an excellent breakfast in our skiffs. This is the entire group of 20 couples. Many of them are continuing on the Uniworld 55 day Rivers of the World tour. They head to Vietnam next.
Saw some dolphins but not the pink dolphins.
Did some piranha fishing...small but lots of teeth. Last picture above are small bats!
Joanne rarely swims in the Potomac (too cold) but the Amazon is great...even with the piranha...today it was about 98 degrees and very humid! Last picture is folks transporting huge logs down river for furniture.
Great jungle walk this afternoon....really in the jungle...had a guy with manchette cutting a path. Saw fire ants, tarantula, sloth, flowers.
I was about to ask where all the snakes were and an anaconda showed up...about 7 feet long.
Just beat a storm back to the boat! A very good day on the water and in the jungle!
As usual, Sharp adventures are amazing! Thanks for including your adoring fans!
You guys kill me. Swimmin' with the Pirahna ! Great pictures as usual. Al
