23 and 24 May - Durnstein, Linz, and Salzburg

May 23rd - Durnstein - beautiful small town...wish we had stopped at more towns like this. Joanne started the morning hiking up to the castle. I stayed on the boat to do maintenance (inspected the backside of my eye lids!).

We then toured a small Abbey

In the afternoon we did a 22 mile bike (not electric) tour along the Danube from Durnstein to Melk. While we did this the boat repositioned to Melk. It was mostly flat and a great path.

May 24th - Visited Mondsee where the wedding chapel is in The Sound of Music then went to Salsburg. Saw where Mozart was born, the abbey in the Sound of Music, had a great lunch...followed by a pretzel!
